Since Anders moved from his native country of Sweden, he has played and an active part as educator and leader spanning over twenty-five years in international schools worldwide. With experiences from the IB Diploma, Middle Years and Primary Programmes, he has held teaching and leadership positions at UNIS Hanoi, Bali Island School, International School of Havana, International School of Monagas, International School of Helsingborg, St Dominic’s International School of Lisbon, and Innova Academy Beijing.
He holds Masters degrees in Education, Language Acquisition, as well as an International Executive MA in Educational Leadership and Change.
Anders is also an IB field representative and workshop leader for teachers and coordinators, as well as an IB Examiner for English Language and Literature. He is also trained as a visiting team member for CIS and NEASC school accreditation.
He is excited to be part of the dynamic educational team at Wahaha International School, and believes that by strengthening the focus on future ready skills in an international mindedness context, the students will succeed in becoming responsible learners for the future.
Victoria brings many years of experience in education and school administration to WIS. A graduate of Zhejiang University with a degree in early childhood education, she taught for four years at the Anji Lu Kindergarten in Xiacheng district before traveling to the UK to earn a Master of Arts degree in education. She worked in a number of kindergartens there before returning to China to take up the position as Assistant to the Principal and Director of Administration at the International School of Wuxi. She founded and operated a children's art school for several years before following her husband to the US, where she lived for a number of years. Victoria's many years of experience in education and school administration is complemented by her experience as the mother of a young daughter.
Laura brings a wealth of early childhood education and Kindergarten management experience to WIS. Before returning to her hometown of Hangzhou to help WIS start our Kindergarten program, Laura operated her own bilingual Kindergarten in Beijing for 10 years. A graduate of Beijing Foreign Studies University, Laura received a Master of Arts degree from Waseda University in Japan, and worked for several years in Japan at a publishing house specializing in early childhood education materials before returning to China. Laura brings to our Kindergarten program many years of experience as both an early childhood education specialist and a mother.
