Dean’s Story
Mr. Dean was born and raised in Durban, South Africa. After completing his postgraduate studies in Strategic Management and finance in 2017, he moved to China to begin his journey as an international educator. He has since completed a teaching certificate as well as a PGET in Education. Throughout his career, he has taught students across a range of ages, from kindergarten to high school, giving him a broad understanding of student development and the different needs of learners. Mr Dean believes that fairness, transparency, and mutual respect are essential to building a positive school community. He is committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment in which every student feels valued, heard, and confident to grow. He encourages students to take responsibility for their choices, approach challenges with curiosity, and celebrate their progress. Above all, Mr Dean is passionate about helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally so that they become compassionate, balanced, and lifelong learners.
