The summer breeze whispers the melody of graduation, weaving a tender refrain as last Saturday saw the grand celebration of WIS 2024-2025 Graduation Ceremony
Part 1 Speeches by teachers, students and parents
This year’s graduation ceremony invited teachers, students and parent representatives from Grade 5 and Grade 9 to take turns speaking on stage. Their voices were firm and powerful, full of pride and gratitude.
“I remember her nervousness when she transferred to the school in the first-grade. Now, she has bravely integrated into the group and made friends. May you always maintain curiosity and creativity. The sky is the limit for you.”
“Transferring to this school three years ago was the most correct decision. I remember that the classroom was full of post-it notes from students to teachers. One of them said, ‘Teacher is more patient than my mother’, which moved me.”
“We are proud of the individuals you have become and look forward to seeing you become leaders in your future schools. Your spirit of teamwork and passion for chasing dreams will light the way forward.”
“In the future, we will go to different schools. Some of us will enter top-tier all-girls high schools in the United States, some will study in Canada, and some will continue to study at Wahaha Schools. No matter where we go, our common memories will always connect us.”
“Thank you, teachers, for your encouragement and trust. Classmates, this is not the end, but a new beginning. Let’s continue to pursue excellence and be our true selves.”
“Some people ask, ‘Can I become excellent?’ We tell you: you are already excellent! Grade 5 and Grade 9 graduates, your adventure is now beginning.”
“As a Science teacher and homeroom teacher in the past two years, I have witnessed your growth in academics, character, and tenacity. You are ready to conquer the future. Remember the lessons learned here, and they will become your sharp weapons.”
Part 2 Principal’s speech
Principal Ms. Jelena shared her personal story of “riding 80 kilometers”: At first, she thought she could only cycle 30 kilometers, but eventually broke through the limit through perseverance and the right mindset, completing the feat of 80 kilometers by gradually pushing her boundaries.
“Grade 5 will face new environments, and Grade 9 will step into uncharted territories, but you have already been trained as ’80-kilometer riders’. Remember: Your voices will be heard, the future is yours to create, and may you shine brightly on your new journey.”
Part 3 Awarding of Diplomas
The ceremony commenced with the principal presenting each graduate with their diploma individually.
Each piece of paper is like a precious memory box, capturing the achievements and growth of these students over the years.
Part 4 Awards Ceremony
In addition, this day also marked the closing ceremony for all grade levels. We celebrated the outstanding achievements of our students across various subjects and areas this academic year, presenting awards that recognize their hard work, curiosity, and excellence in learning.
As each awardee stepped onto the stage, applause filled the theater, recognizing their brilliance shining like bright stars.
Part 5 Graduation performance
A special thanks to our teachers, parents, and all our classmates for their splendid performances, making this moment even more unforgettable and enriching.
We wish every graduate of the Class of 2025 a bright future, continuing to shine on their paths ahead!
