Iain’s Story
Mr. Iain is a British educator with seven years of international teaching experience across China, including five years at IB World Schools. He holds a Bachelor of Science with honours from the University of Glasgow and is certified in TEFL, with professional training in IB PYP methodology and ELL pedagogy.
Passionate about inquiry-based learning and student-centred environments, Iain has built a career designing curriculum, supporting teachers, and fostering inclusive classrooms where learners thrive. Beyond the classroom, Iain is an accomplished musician (classically trained violinist and guitarist) and author of three self-published English Language textbooks for middle school learners. He believes that meaningful learning flourishes in safe, supportive communities where students feel valued and empowered to ask questions.
