Ms. Jessie was born in Los Angeles, California, but spent much of her childhood here in Hangzhou, China. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education with an M.S.Ed. in Elementary Education. Before joining WIS, she taught Grades 1 and 2 in the United States. 

She believes that strong relationships are at the heart of a meaningful classroom. She strives to create an environment where every child feels known, supported, and encouraged to grow. Through engaging and differentiated learning experiences, she hopes to recognize each student’s individual strengths and needs while helping them build confidence, curiosity, and independence. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, traveling, exploring new places and cultures, and seeing more of the world.
