Zora’s Story
Ms. Zora is a Chinese mathematics teacher and a Hangzhou native. She holds a Master’s degree from City University of Hong Kong and has over seven years of teaching experience, including five years in international schools. She holds a Chinese Junior Secondary Mathematics Teaching Certificate, an IB MYP Mathematics Category 1 Certificate, and an AiKreate training certificate.
She believes that mathematics is best learned through inquiry, meaningful challenges, and discussion. By encouraging students to explore, question, and connect ideas, she aims to develop their confidence, critical thinking, and deep conceptual understanding. She previously served as a Grade Level Leader, supporting both student learning and team collaboration.
Outside school, Zora enjoys creative crafts such as crochet and Perler beads, playing video games, and spending time with her two cats. As a Hangzhou native, she is also excited to share her love for the city with her students and families.
