Chantel’s Story
Dr. Chantel is a South African educator with over 23 years of teaching experience across Kindergarten, Primary and Middle School, including more than 6 years working in Hangzhou. She holds a Master’s Degree in Pre & Primary Education and a Doctoral Degree in Education and is a qualified and registered teacher with experience in special needs education and IB programmes. As Librarian and MYP Admin Leader, she supports the development and implementation of the IB MYP and works collaboratively with students, teachers and families to promote meaningful learning and student success. Dr. Chantel believes in a holistic approach to education that nurtures the academic, social, emotional and personal development of every student. She is passionate about creating inclusive, engaging learning environments that foster curiosity, creativity and a lifelong love of learning. Her hobbies and interests include snorkelling, photography and travelling.
