Chinese High School Language Teacher CertificationInternational Chinese Language Teacher Certificate (CTCSOL)

Ms. Tracy has extensive experience teaching Chinese internationally, having taught at the Confucius Institute at the University of Zagreb, the University of Zadar, and the library. She provides engaging Chinese classes for students of all ages, excelling in differentiated and situational approaches. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, horseback riding, traveling, and reading.

Ms. Tracy adheres to a student-centered teaching philosophy, recognizing that teachers are not merely transmitters of knowledge but also facilitators and guides in the learning process. She emphasizes the importance of scaffolding, creating supportive structures that enable students to progress within their zone of understanding. By employing engaging and culturally meaningful approaches and upholding the “i+1” principle, she ensures that students receive comprehensible input while being appropriately challenged. For her, the essence of teaching lies not only in “teaching” but, more importantly, in “learning.” She believes that students should be guided to actively construct meaning in authentic contexts, thereby developing intercultural communication skills and fostering learner autonomy.
