This week, our campus was brimming with festive cheer as the whole WIS community gathered wholeheartedly to celebrate the Chinese New Year, welcoming the warm and hopeful Year of the Horse together.

本周，WIS校园处处洋溢着浓郁的新春喜气，全体师生欢聚一堂，共庆农历新年，一同迎接温暖可期的马年到来。

The celebration kicked off with a brilliant lineup of performances that dazzled everyone. The PYP Band and Teachers Band brought wonderful musical performances, filling the air with melodious rhythms.

庆典在精彩纷呈的表演中拉开帷幕，亮点纷呈、令人目不暇接。PYP乐队与教师乐队带来精彩的音乐演出，悠扬旋律洒满校园。

The lively Dragon and Lion dance show added a strong festive atmosphere, with vivid movements bringing the traditional mascots to life.

热闹的舞龙舞狮表演氛围感拉满，灵动的身姿将传统瑞兽的精气神展现得淋漓尽致。

The graceful ballet performance exuded soft charm, and the boys’ chorus presented a passionate and powerful performance, infecting every audience present.

优雅的芭蕾舞尽显柔美韵味，男生合唱激情有力，感染着在场的每一位观众。

The Guqin ensemble by parent and student played melodious tunes that touched everyone’s heart.

家长与学生携手呈现的古琴合奏，奏响婉转悠扬的曲调，触动人心。

Besides, the stage play themed Year, presented by CAL students, vividly told the story of the Chinese New Year and also reflected WIS’s great emphasis on traditional Chinese culture.

此外，CAL学生带来了主题为《年》的话剧表演，生动演绎了新年的故事，也体现着WIS对中国传统文化的高度重视。

After the wonderful performances, our End-of- Semester Assembly was held as scheduled. In a special and grand award ceremony, we proudly recognized and praised every student’s hard work, progress and outstanding achievements over the semester, witnessing their growth with pride.

精彩表演过后，期末颁奖典礼如期举行。在温馨而隆重的专属颁奖仪式中，我们共同见证、嘉奖每一位学子本学期的努力、进步与优异成绩，为他们的成长喝彩。

The joy continued to linger on campus with our vibrant Chinese New Year Fair. Our Chinese team carefully prepared a variety of interesting games for everyone, including Glutinous Rice, Firework Craft, Horse Race and Playdough Plant Creation, allowing everyone to experience the fun of traditional customs in the game.

热闹非凡的新春市集接踵而至，欢乐永不落幕。中文团队精心为大家准备了丰富有趣的互动游戏，包括糯米互动、烟花手工、趣味赛马、彩泥植物创作等，让大家在欢声笑语的游戏中感受传统民俗的乐趣。

Meanwhile, in the classrooms, the PTA thoughtfully prepared Traditional Chinese Delicacies for all teachers and students, such as Dumplings, Glutinous Rice Balls, Spring Rolls and so on—everyone gathered around, savoring the strong flavor of the New Year and warm affection.

与此同时，教室里，PTA家长们贴心为全体师生准备了中国传统美食，如饺子、汤圆、春卷等——大家围坐在一起，细细品味浓浓的年味儿与温情。

It’s a joyful and memorable conclusion to the semester, and also a warm and bright start to the Year of the Horse. Every moment was filled with cultural charm, festive joy and the warm bond of the WIS family. Wish everyone a prosperous and happy Year of the Horse! 🧧🐴
