KG-A recently met with a kindergarten class from another school. Our new friends weren’t from Hangzhou though. In fact, they were over 6,000 km away in the Middle East. Mr. Mike’s class participated in a live video meeting with a kindergarten class at Al Zuhour Private School in Dubai, UAE. During our 45-minute meeting, students from both schools were able to ask each other questions about important topics like favorite foods, video games, weather and recess games. Children in both classes dressed in traditional clothing from their cultures, so we also spent time learning about how people dress in the Middle East. Although our meeting was in English, the children took turns teaching each other a few words in Chinese and Arabic.
