Grade 2A has been learning division with a remainder. Students were encouraged to be creative and make a 3-D poster to show their understanding of division problems in real life. Each student needed to think about how they would visually show the problem on their poster as well as, share their work in math class. Finally, they took a vote on which poster they liked best based on the: design, the actual word problem and the hand writing. During this project, students continue to develop their creativity and critical thinking skills.
