Dear WIS Parents,
This week we had two intense and hopefully informative parent/ principal sessions, continuing our inspiring IB PYP and MYP journeys here at WIS.
I really appreciate all your challenging and inquiring questions and queries concerning our progress. It was very enjoyable having the opportunity to present and discuss with you the IB Learner Profile and the strong links to the ideas of International-Mindedness – showing mutual respect and be caring in all our relationships.
To show you our progress with the writing of our WIS K-10 Curriculum, with a clear scope and sequence based on recent educational research, was indeed one of the highlights of the evenings together with you, WIS parents and grandparents. Thank you for coming, and I look forward to continued conversations with all of you, as well as meeting you again in future workshops and “Q and A” sessions.
I am sharing with you the very informative and transparent descriptive IB Program models for the Primary Years and Middle Years Programs.
