Chantel’s Story
Chantel van der Merwe hails from Ballito, South Africa, and brings with her a wealth of experience in the field of education. With an illustrious teaching career spanning 21 years, Chantel’s expertise is underscored by her status as a qualified and registered teacher. Notably, she spent 5 of those years in Hangzhou, China, contributing to her diverse and global perspective on education.
Chantel’s dedication lies in facilitating the holistic development of children, encompassing academic, social, linguistic, and motor proficiencies. This commitment to nurturing growth is met with enthusiasm and a steadfast approach to the challenges that each day brings. She takes great pride in establishing an engaging and positive learning community, one where young learners can thrive and evolve.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Chantel finds fulfillment in her roles as a spouse of 25 years and a parent to two accomplished children, aged 26 and 23. Her personal interests extend to literature, travel, photography, music, beachcombing, and cherished moments shared with her circle of friends and family.
