Charne’s Story
Ms. Charnè is from South Africa and has nine years of teaching experience in China. She holds a PGCE from the University of Sunderland in the UK and a Master of Arts in Education from European International University. She has been teaching Grade 5 at WIS for the past five years. She is passionate about working with children and believes that meaningful learning takes place in a supportive, encouraging, and well-structured environment. Her teaching philosophy is firm but fair, with clear expectations balanced by empathy, encouragement, and respect. She values personal growth, reflection, and continuous professional development and is committed to nurturing students’ confidence, curiosity, independence, and love of learning.
