Ms. Joy is a dedicated IB educator and a passionate practitioner of the IB philosophy. A graduate of Shanghai Normal University, she holds a degree in Chinese International Education and a senior high school Chinese teaching qualification. Since graduation, she has been working in IB schools, accumulating over six years of experience in MYP Chinese teaching and more than five years as an IB homeroom teacher.

She is committed to creating an inclusive, engaging classroom where students feel safe to explore, question, and connect learning to real-life contexts. Through language, literature, and cultural inquiry, she sparks curiosity, sharpens critical thinking, and nurtures personal growth. She believes language is a bridge to understanding ourselves and others.

Beyond the classroom, she enjoys squash and piano.
