Oscar‘s Story

Mr. Oscar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from La Salle University in Mexico and a PGCE qualification. Before transitioning into education, he worked as an engineer in Mexico. He has eight years of teaching experience in China, working with students across primary, middle, and high school levels in STEAM, robotics, design and technology, and computer science education. He specializes in robotics, coding, engineering design, design thinking, and project-based learning. Through inquiry-based experiences, Oscar encourages students to collaborate, explore ideas, and develop creative solutions through the design process. Oscar believes that learning happens through curiosity, challenge, reflection, and continuous improvement. By encouraging students to take risks, experiment, learn from mistakes, and refine their ideas, he helps them develop resilience, independence, and confidence as problem solvers and innovators.
