Zach’s Story
Mr. Zach is originally from Lincoln, a small city in the UK, and holds a degree in Politics and Social Policy from the University of Leeds. He has worked in education in Hangzhou since 2016, teaching students across a wide range of ages and abilities, from individual tutoring to classroom teaching.
He currently teaches Phase 5&6 English Language Acquisition within the MYP at Wahaha International School. He is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students can develop both their English proficiency and confidence as communicators. His teaching philosophy is centred on the belief that mistakes are an essential part of learning, encouraging students to take risks, reflect on their progress, and view challenges as opportunities for improvement. Outside of school, he enjoys writing music, cycling, walking, and reading.
