Emily’s Story
Ms. Emily is a passionate educator with 19 years of MYP teaching and leadership experience who has spent the last two years in China. Prior to that, she worked at a junior boarding school in the U.S. She has worked closely with students both academically and pastorally, developing a deep understanding of international education. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English and History from Amherst College, and a Master of Arts in Private School Leadership from Columbia University.
She strongly believes in interdisciplinary learning and designs authentic learning experiences that help students make meaningful connections across subjects and apply their knowledge to real-world contexts.
When she is not in school, Ms. Emily enjoys spending time outside with her family, reading, traveling, and learning through travel.
