Plant Experiments

In grade 3 we are learning about how plants grow! We are doing an experiment to see how seeds sprout. We put one set of seeds in a clear plastic envelope on the window, one on a wall in the room, and one in the closet. We predicted the one on the window would grow the fastest because plants need light to grow. But actually, only the one in the closet is growing! We realized that while plants need light, many seeds need it to be dark to start growing.
