WIS 6th and 7th grades are working on creating “Sugar Skulls” in the style found in the holiday – Day of the Dead. This holiday celebrates the lives of deceased family members and is celebrated mainly in Mexico and Latin America. This project is leading us into a study of how other cultures around the world honor their ancestors.
