This month we have started our ‘Book Club’ again in collaboration with Grade 5. My group of students have started reading ‘Olive’s Ocean’. We will be working in this book for the next two months. We have started by looking at some of the imagery and language used and have tried to foretell how the story will develop.
Alongside our ‘Book Club’ we have continued with our grammar and reading exercises. This month we have continued to practice and enhance our reading skills and have been learning different types of verbs along with their correct usage, helping verbs, linking verbs, and transitive verbs.
