Grades 7 and 8 participated in the Purple Comet! Math competition on April 10. Purple Comet is an online mathematical problem-solving competition open to any school in the world. Students collaborate in groups of six to solve a set of 20 difficult math problems. The two teams from WIS tied for second place among the 123 middle schools in China in their category! We look forward to our next competition on May 25: the ACAMIS Math Olympiad, hosted by Hangzhou International School.
