Ms. Bessie holds a Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from Xiamen University. As one of the founding teachers at WIS, she has over 11 years of experience teaching Chinese language and literature. As a lifelong learner, she continuously explores innovative approaches to teaching and learning.She believes that education begins with truly seeing and understanding each student. By listening to their voices, recognizing their strengths, and encouraging their growth, she helps students build confidence and become active, resilient learners.Beyond the classroom, Bessie founded the WIS Chinese Debate Club and has coached students in Chinese debate competitions for many years. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, cycling, and tea.
